 A modality focused on looking at negative thought patterns (aka when your brain is being a total bully) and replacing them with more helpful, fact based thoughts. I conduct CBT in a very relational way and want the more "clinical" component of therapy to feel engaging and tailored to meet your needs.

 ACT is built upon encouraging you to embrace your thoughts and feelings, instead of feeling as though you must always fight them. It is comprised of a whole lot of metaphors that can be very helpful when we catch ourselves in a thought spiral.

DBT is skill and strategy based and focuses on important aspects of the mind such as mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, keeping steady relationships, and practicing acceptance. I stinkin' love a good coping skill and want to get to know you for you so that we can develop your coping skill "setlist" to feel both helpful and useful for your daily routine.
